When a busy professional couple with two growing daughters set out to reimagine their home, they wanted a space that could evolve with their family and support their multigenerational lifestyle.

Referred by a past client, they came to Delaney’s Design seeking expert guidance in creating a home that functioned beautifully for everyday life, and for the future, too.

Their existing layout no longer fit the rhythm of their lives: awkward angles, wasted space, and a kitchen that made entertaining a challenge (they love hosting!). With our full-service approach, they gained a clear plan, a realistic budget, and confidence that every detail would align with how they truly wanted to live. 

The design introduced en suite bathrooms for each bedroom, reconfigured spaces for better flow, and converted an underused room into a multipurpose office and craft space.

The property’s detached cottage, home to the family’s mother-in-law, was reimagined for comfort and aging in place—infusing thoughtful accessibility features with warmth and charm. The result is a home that balances function with timeless design, where generations gather, celebrate, and feel completely at home.
