When a slab leak caused water damage throughout the first floor of this beloved forever home, the clients knew they wanted to remodel once and do it right.

As an empty nest couple with three adult children, they loved their location, loved their home, and wanted the renovation to support the way they truly live: quiet nights cooking together, easy entertaining with family and friends, and spaces that felt more elevated without losing their comfort.

Rather than pursuing unnecessary structural demolition, we focused on smart, high impact design decisions that allowed the investment to go where it mattered most. In the kitchen, we preserved the original appliance locations to help manage construction costs and expedite the renovation process, while reworking the space with custom cabinetry, improved storage, hidden outlets, undercabinet lighting, panel ready appliances, and a more intentional work zone for cooking and prep.

The primary bathroom was fully updated with long term comfort in mind, including a freestanding tub, hand held shower features, and premium fixtures selected within the existing plumbing footprint. The secondary bathrooms were transformed from dated builder grade spaces into modern walk in showers with custom recessed niches and white oak cabinetry.

In the dining room, we refreshed the space with statement lighting, professional styling, and thoughtfully repurposed pieces the clients already loved. The fireplace feature wall was also elevated with full height porcelain slabs while preserving the original trim work, creating a casually sophisticated focal point with timeless character.

The result is a home that feels beautifully renewed, deeply personal, and ready for the next chapter.
